SEV Biblia, Chapter 14:15
¶ Lo demás de los hechos de Joás que hizo, y sus valentías, y cómo peleó contra Amasías rey de Judá, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
Clarke's Bible Commentary - 2 Kings 14:15
Verse 15. How he fought with Amaziah] The only fighting between them was the battle already mentioned; and this is minutely related in 2 Chron. xxv. 21-24.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 15. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might , etc.] His valiant and mighty acts which he did in his wars with the Syrians, ( 2 Kings 13:25), and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah ; a short account of which is given in the preceding verses: are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel ? a book very often mentioned and referred to, as containing the history of the events and transactions of every reign.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 15-22 - Amaziah survived his conqueror fifteen years. He was slain by his ow subjects. Azariah, or Uzziah, seems to have been very young when his father was slain. Though the years of his reign are reckoned from tha event, he was not fully made king till eleven years afterwards.
