John Gill's Bible Commentary Ver. 19. And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath , etc.] The Targum is, “Miriam, who was called Ephrath”; but, according to Josephus f16 , it was his son Hur that was the husband of Miriam the sister of Moses: which bare him Hur ; ((See Gill on “ Exodus 17:10”)).
