De treinta y dos años era cuando comenzó a reinar, y ocho años reinó en Jerusalén.

Verse 17. He reigned eight years in Jerusalem.] Beginning with the fifth year of Joram, king of Israel. He reigned three years with Jehoshaphat his father, and five years alone; i.e., from A.M. 3112 to 3119, according to Archbishop Usher.

Ver. 17. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign , etc.] The second time, in the lifetime of his father: and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem ; which ended in the twelfth year of Joram king of Israel, ( 2 Kings 8:25).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 16-24 - A general idea is given of Jehoram's badness. His father, no doubt, ha him taught the true knowledge of the Lord, but did ill to marry him to the daughter of Ahab; no good could come of union with an idolatrou family.
