SEV Biblia, Chapter 14:31

Se levantó por tanto Joab, y vino a Absalón a su casa, y le dijo: ¿Por qué han puesto fuego tus siervos a mis tierras?

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 31. Then
Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto [his] house , etc.] Provoked at what he had done, and to know the reason of it; and which was answering Absalom’s end: and said unto him, wherefore have thy servants set my field on fire ? which was not only injurious to his property, but a malicious action.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 28-33 - By his insolent carriage toward
Joab, Absalom brought Joab to plead for him. By his insolent message to the king, he gained his wishes. When parents and rulers countenance such characters, they will soon suffe the most fatal effects. But did the compassion of a father prevail to reconcile him to an impenitent son, and shall penitent sinners questio the compassion of Him who is the Father of mercies __________________________________________________________________
