SEV Biblia, Chapter 17:12
Y el hombre que procediere con soberbia, no escuchando al sacerdote que está para ministrar allí delante del SEÑOR tu Dios, o al juez, el tal varón morirá; y quitarás el mal de Israel.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Deuteronomy 17:12
Verse 12. The man that will do presumptuously] The man who refused to abide by this final determination forfeited his life, as being then in a state of rebellion against the highest authority, and consequently the public could have no pledge for his conduct.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 8-13 - Courts of judgment were to be set up in every city. Though their judgment had not the Divine authority of an oracle, it was the judgmen of wise, prudent, experienced men, and had the advantage of a Divin promise.
