King James Bible - Job 16:13

His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.

World English Bible

His archers surround me. He splits my kidneys apart, and does not spare. He pours out my gall on the ground.

Douay-Rheims - Job 16:13

I that was formerly so wealthy, am all on a sudden broken to pieces: he hath taken me by my neck, he hath broken me, and hath set me up to be his mark.

Webster's Bible Translation

His archers encompass me; he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.

VERSE (13) -
Job 6:4 Ge 49:23 Ps 7:12,13

SEV Biblia, Chapter 16:13

Me cercaron sus flecheros, partió mis riñones, y no perdonó; mi hiel derramó por tierra.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Job 16:13

Verse 13. His archers compass me ] wybr rabbaiv "his great ones." The Vulgate and Septuagint translate this his
spears; the Syriac, Arabic, and Chaldee, his arrows. On this and the following verse Mr. Heath observes: "The metaphor is here taken from huntsmen: first, they surround the beast; then he is shot dead; his entrails are next taken out; and then his body is broken up limb by limb."

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 6-16 - Here is a doleful representation of Job's grievances. What reason we have to
bless God, that we are not making such complaints! Even goo men, when in great troubles, have much ado not to entertain har thoughts of God. Eliphaz had represented Job as unhumbled under his affliction: No, says Job, I know better things; the dust is now the fittest place for me. In this he reminds us of Christ, who was a man of sorrows, and pronounced those blessed that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
