SEV Biblia, Chapter 13:57
Y si apareciere más en el vestido, o estambre, o trama, o en cualquiera cosa de pieles, reverdeciendo en ella, quemarás al fuego aquello donde estuviere la plaga.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 57. And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin , etc.] After the piece has been rent out, in another part of the garment, etc. where before it was not seen: it [is] a spreading [plague] ; or leprosy; a flourishing one, as the word signifies, a growing and increasing one: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague [is] with fire ; according to Aben Ezra, only that part in which the plague was; but Jarchi says the whole garment; with whom Ben Gersom seems to agree, who reads the words, thou shall burn it, with that in which the plague is; the whole garment, skin, warp, or woof, along with the part in which the leprosy is.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 47-59 - The garment suspected to be tainted with leprosy was not to be burne immediately. If, upon search, it was found that there was a leprou spot, it must be burned, or at least that part of it. If it proved to be free, it must be washed, and then might be used. This also set forth the great evil there is in sin. It not only defiles the sinner' conscience, but it brings a stain upon all he has and all that he does And those who make their clothes servants to their pride and lust, ma see them thereby tainted with leprosy. But the robes of righteousnes never fret, nor are moth-eaten __________________________________________________________________
