King James Bible - 1 Samuel 10:15

And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.

World English Bible

Saul's uncle said, "Please tell me what Samuel said to you."

Douay-Rheims - 1 Samuel 10:15

And his uncle said to him: Tell me what Samuel said to thee.

Webster's Bible Translation

And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, What Samuel said to you.

Original Hebrew

ויאמר
559 דוד 1730 שׁאול 7586 הגידה 5046 נא 4994 לי  מה 4100  אמר 559  לכם  שׁמואל׃ 8050

SEV Biblia, Chapter 10:15

Y dijo el tío de Saúl: Yo te ruego me declares qué os dijo Samuel.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 15. And Saul’s uncle said , etc. l On hearing he had been with Samuel, and perceiving so great an alteration in
Saul, perhaps he began to suspect something about the kingdom; it being what everyone was talking of, and expecting every day to hear from Samuel who should be king, according to the Lord’s appointment: tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you ; the earnestness with which he put this question seems to confirm the above conjecture.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 9-16 - The
signs Samuel had given Saul, came to pass punctually; he found tha God had given him another heart, another disposition of mind. Yet le not an outward show of devotion, and a sudden change for the present be too much relied on; Saul among the prophets was Saul still. Hi being anointed was kept private. He leaves it to God to carry on his own work by Samuel, and sits still, to see how the matter will fall.
