SEV Biblia, Chapter 24:15
El SEÑOR, pues, será juez, y él juzgará entre mí y ti. El vea, y pleitee mi pleito, y me defienda de tu mano.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - 1 Samuel 24:15
Verse 15. The Lord therefore be judge] Let God determine who is guilty.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 15. The Lord therefore be Judge, and judge between me and thee , etc.] Signifying he did not desire to be judge in his own cause, but leave it with God to determine it for him in his providence: and see, and plead my cause ; look with pity upon him, take his cause in his hand, plead it, and do him justice: and deliver me out of thine hand : which was a prayer of faith, believing he would do it in due time, (see Psalm 7:6,8-11).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 8-15 - David was falsely charged with seeking Saul's hurt; he shows Saul tha God's providence had given him opportunity to do it. And it was upon good principle that he refused to do it. He declares his fixe resolution never to be his own avenger. If men wrong us, God will righ us, at farthest, in the judgment of the great day.
