Clarke's Bible Commentary - Psalms 37:16 Verse 16. When my foot slippeth ] They watched for my halting; and when my foot slipped, they rejoiced that I had fallen into sin!
Matthew Henry Commentary Verses 12-22 - Wicked men hate goodness, even when they benefit by it. David, in the complaints he makes of his enemies, seems to refer to Christ. But ou enemies do us real mischief only when they drive us from God and ou duty.
