SEV Biblia, Chapter 80:15

y la viña que tu diestra plantó, y sobre el renuevo que corroboraste para ti.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Psalms 79:15

Verse 15. The
vineyard which thy right hand hath planted ] Thy holy and pure worship which thy Almighty power had established in this city.

And the branch-thou madest strong for thy self. ] The original b l[w veal ben, "and upon the SON whom thou hast strengthened for thyself." Many have thought that the Lord Jesus is meant. And so the Chaldee understood it, as it translates the passage thus: ajym aklm l[w veal MALCA MESHICHA, And upon the King Messiah, whom thou hast strengthened for thyself." The Syriac, Vulgate, Septuagint, AEthiopic, and Arabic, have, "the Son of man,' as in the seventeenth verse. Eighteen of Kennicott's and Deuteronomy Rossi's MSS. have µda b ben Adam, "Son of man," and as the Versions have all the same reading, it was probably that of the original copies. As Christ seems here to be intended, this is the first place in the Old Testament where the title Son of man is applied to him. The old Psalter understands this of setting Christ at the right hand of God.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 8-16 - The church is represented as a vine and a vineyard. The root of thi vine is Christ, the branches are believers. The church is like a vine needing support, but spreading and fruitful. If a vine do not brin forth fruit, no tree is so worthless. And are not we planted as in well-cultivated garden, with every means of being fruitful in works of righteousness? But the useless leaves of profession, and the empt boughs of notions and forms, abound far more than real piety. It wa wasted and ruined. There was a good reason for this change in God's wa toward them. And it is well or ill with us, according as we are unde God's smiles or frowns. When we consider the state of the purest par of the visible church, we cannot wonder that it is visited with shar corrections. They request that God would help the vine. Lord, it is formed by thyself, and for thyself, therefore it may, with humbl confidence, be committed to thyself.
