SEV Biblia, Chapter 19:30
Y Mefi-boset dijo al rey: Y aun tómelas él todas, pues que mi señor el rey ha vuelto en paz a su casa.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 30. And Mephibosheth said unto the king, yea, let him take all , etc.] The whole estate, as David had given it to him; he was content that that last grant should stand: forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house ; his palace in Jerusalem; which was a strong expression of affection for him, and loyalty to him. (Solomn used a similar test to determine which woman’s baby was alive. ( 1 Kings 3:16-28). He purposed the baby be cut in two to reveal who the real mother was. Likewise, David suggests the property should be divided between Ziba and Miphibosheth to determine the true loyalty of the later. ( 2 Samuel 19:29,30) Editor.)
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 24-30 - David recalls the forfeiture of Mephibosheth's estate; and he expresse joy for the king's return. A good man contentedly bears his own losses while he sees Israel in peace, and the Son of David exalted.
