SEV Biblia, Chapter 10:24
porque os digo que muchos profetas y reyes desearon ver lo que vosotros veis, y no lo vieron; y oír lo que oís, y no lo oyeron.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Luke 10:24
Verse 24. Many prophets] See on Matt. xiii. 11, 17.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 24. For I tell you that many prophets and kings , etc.] As Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, who were prophets, as well as patriarchs, and David, Solomon, and others: have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them, and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them , meaning himself, doctrines, and miracles; (See Gill on Matthew 13:17).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 17-24 - All our victories over Satan, are obtained by power derived from Jesu Christ, and he must have all the praise. But let us beware of spiritual pride, which has been the destruction of many. Our Lord rejoiced at the prospect of the salvation of many souls. It was fit that particula notice should be taken of that hour of joy; there were few such, for He was a man of sorrows: in that hour in which he saw Satan fall, an heard of the good success of his ministers, in that hour he rejoiced He has ever resisted the proud, and given grace to the humble. The mor simply dependent we are on the teaching, help, and blessing of the So of God, the more we shall know both of the Father and of the Son; the more blessed we shall be in seeing the glory, and hearing the words of the Divine Saviour; and the more useful we shall be made in promotin his cause.

10:24 {Which ye see} (ha humeis blepete). The expression of humeis makes "ye" very emphatic in contrast with the prophets and kings of former days.
