VERSE (20) -
Job 29:11 De 24:13

SEV Biblia, Chapter 31:20

si no me bendijeron sus lomos, y del vellón de mis ovejas se calentaron;

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Job 31:20

Verse 20. If his loins have not
blessed me ] This is a very delicate touch: the part that was cold and shivering is now covered with warm woollen. It feels the comfort; and by a fine prosopopoeia, is represented as blessing him who furnished the clothing.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 16-23 - Job's conscience gave
testimony concerning his just and charitabl behaviour toward the poor. He is most large upon this head, because in this matter he was particularly accused. He was tender of all, an hurtful to none. Notice the principles by which Job was restrained from being uncharitable and unmerciful. He stood in awe of the Lord, a certainly against him, if he should wrong the poor. Regard to worldl interests may restrain a man from actual crimes; but the grace of God alone can make him hate, dread, and shun sinful thoughts and desires.
