SEV Biblia, Chapter 32:25
Y viendo Moisés que el pueblo estaba desnudo, porque Aarón lo había desnudado para vergí¼enza entre sus enemigos,
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Exodus 32:25
Verse 25. Moses saw that the people were naked] They were stripped, says the Targum, of the holy crown that was upon their heads, on which the great and precious name [Ancient Hebrew] JEHOVAH was engraved. But it is more likely that the word [rp parua implies that they were reduced to the most helpless and wretched state, being abandoned by God in the midst of their enemies. This is exactly similar to that expression, 2 Chron. xxviii. 19: For the Lord brought Judah low, because of Ahaz king of Israel: for he made Judah NAKED, [yrph hiphria, and transgressed sore against the Lord. Their nakedness, therefore, though in the first sense it may imply that several of them were despoiled of their ornaments, yet it may also express their defenceless and abandoned state, in consequence of their sin. That they could not literally have all been despoiled of their ornaments, appears evident from their offerings. See Exodus xxxv. 21, &c.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 21-29 - Never did any wise man make a more frivolous and foolish excuse tha that of Aaron. We must never be drawn into sin by any thing man can say or do to us; for men can but tempt us to sin, they cannot force us. The approach of Moses turned the dancing into trembling. They were expose to shame by their sin. The course Moses took to roll away thi reproach, was, not by concealing the sin, or putting any false colou upon it, but by punishing it. The Levites were to slay the ringleader in this wickedness; yet none were executed but those who openly stoo forth. Those are marked for ruin who persist in sin: those who in the morning were shouting and dancing, before night were dying. Such sudde changes do the judgments of the Lord sometimes make with sinners tha are secure and jovial in their sin.
