SEV Biblia, Chapter 32:16 Y las tablas eran obra de Dios, y la escritura era escritura de Dios grabada sobre las tablas.
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Exodus 32:16 Verse 16. The tables were the work of God] Because such a law could proceed from none but himself; God alone is the fountain and author of LAW, of what is right, just, holy, and good. See the meaning of the word LAW, chap. xii. 49. See note on the word LAW, "chap. xii. 49". The writing was the writing of God] For as he is the sole author of law and justice, so he alone can write them on the heart of man. This is agreeable to the spirit of the new covenant which God had promised to make with men in the latter days: I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel-I will PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MINDS, AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS, Jer. xxxi. 33; Heb. viii. 10; 2 Cor. iii. 3. That the writing of these tables was the writing of God, see proved at the conclusion of the last chapter.
Verses 15-20 - What a change it is, to come down from the mount of communion with God to converse with a wicked world. In God we see nothing but what is pur and pleasing; in the world nothing but what is sinful and provoking That it might appear an idol is nothing in the world, Moses ground the calf to dust. Mixing this powder with their drink, signified that the backslider in heart should be filled with his own ways.
