SEV Biblia, Chapter 1:41
Y Jess, teniendo misericordia de l, extendi su mano, y le toc, y le dice: Quiero, s limpio.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 41. And Jesus, moved with compassion , etc..] At the sad and deplorable case the poor man was in, being a merciful high priest, and not with a desire of popular applause, and vain glory: put forth his hand and touched him ; though the leprosy was spread all over him, and there was no place clean, and touching him was forbidden by the law: and saith unto him, I will be thou clean ; (see Gill on Matthew 8:3).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 40-45 - We have here Christ's cleansing of a leper. It teaches us to apply to the Saviour with great humility, and with full submission to his will saying, "Lord, if thou wilt," without any doubt of Christ's readines to help the distressed. See also what to expect from Christ; tha according to our faith it shall be to us. The poor leper said, If tho wilt. Christ readily wills favours to those who readily refe themselves to his will. Christ would have nothing done that looked lik seeking praise of the people. But no reasons now exist why we shoul hesitate to spread the praises of Christ __________________________________________________________________
