VERSE (42) -
:31; 5:29 Ps 33:9 Mt 15:28 Joh 4:50-53; 15:3

SEV Biblia, Chapter 1:42

Y así que hubo l hablado, la lepra se fue luego de aquel, y fue limpio.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 42. And as soon as he had spoken , etc..] The above words, immediately the
leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed ; from it, and which seems to be done not by touching him, but by the words spoken, which were accompanied with such power, as to effect the cure in an instant; (see Gill on Matthew 8:3).

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 40-45 - We have here
Christ's cleansing of a leper. It teaches us to apply to the Saviour with great humility, and with full submission to his will saying, "Lord, if thou wilt," without any doubt of Christ's readines to help the distressed. See also what to expect from Christ; tha according to our faith it shall be to us. The poor leper said, If tho wilt. Christ readily wills favours to those who readily refe themselves to his will. Christ would have nothing done that looked lik seeking praise of the people. But no reasons now exist why we shoul hesitate to spread the praises of Christ __________________________________________________________________
