SEV Biblia, Chapter 13:38

y el campo es el mundo; y la buena simiente son los hijos del Reino, y la cizaa son los hijos del malo;

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 38. The field is the
world , etc.] That which is represented by the field, in which the good seed is sown, is not only the land of Judea, where Christ preached in person, but the whole world, into which the apostles were afterwards sent; or the church of Christ, in the several parts of the world: the good seed are the children of the kingdom : they which are designed by the good seed, are such, for whom the kingdom of heaven is prepared, to whom it is bequeathed, and who are appointed to it; who are possessed of the kingdom of grace here, and are heirs of the kingdom of glory; and have both a meetness for it, and a right unto it, being the children of God by adoption, and that appearing by regeneration: but the tares are the children of the wicked one : the persons intended by the tares, are such professors of religion, as both by their principles and practices, manifestly show that they are of their father the devil; they resemble and imitate him, and do his works; and plainly declare, that they were never born of God, and are in no better state, though under a profession, than openly profane and immoral persons; and are more hurtful and scandalous to the interest of Christ, than such are.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 31-35 - The scope of the
parable of the seed sown, is to show that the beginnings of the gospel would be small, but its latter end woul greatly increase; in this way the work of grace in the heart, the kingdom of God within us, would be carried on. In the soul where grac truly is, it will grow really; though perhaps at first not to be discerned, it will at last come to great strength and usefulness. The preaching of the gospel works like leaven in the hearts of those wh receive it. The leaven works certainly, so does the word, ye gradually. It works silently, and without being seen, Mr 4:26-29, ye strongly; without noise, for so is the way of the Spirit, but withou fail. Thus it was in the world. The apostles, by preaching the gospel hid a handful of leaven in the great mass of mankind. It was mad powerful by the Spirit of the Lord of hosts, who works, and none can hinder. Thus it is in the heart. When the gospel comes into the soul it works a thorough change; it spreads itself into all the powers an faculties of the soul, and alters the property even of the members of the body, Ro 6:13. From these parables we are taught to expect gradual progress; therefore let us inquire, Are we growing in grace and in holy principles and habits?

Robertson's NT Word Studies

13:38 {The field is the
world} (ho de agros estin ho kosmos). The article with both "field" and "world" in Greek means that subject and predicate are coextensive and so interchangeable. It is extremely important to understand that both the good seed and the darnel (tares) are sown in the world, not in the Kingdom, not in the church. The separation comes at the consummation of the age (sunteleia ai"nos, #39), the harvest time. They all grow together in the field (the world).
