SEV Biblia, Chapter 6:31
Y como queris que os hagan los hombres, así hacedles tambin vosotros.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 31. And as ye would that men should do to you , etc.] In matters of justice and beneficence were they in your case, and you in theirs; do ye also to them likewise : a golden rule this, agreeably to the light of nature, and divine revelation, and is the sum and substance of the law and prophets; (See Gill on Matthew 7:12).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 27-36 - These are hard lessons to flesh and blood. But if we are thoroughl grounded in the faith of Christ's love, this will make his command easy to us. Every one that comes to him for washing in his blood, an knows the greatness of the mercy and the love there is in him, can say in truth and sincerity, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? Let us the aim to be merciful, even according to the mercy of our heavenly Fathe to us.
