SEV Biblia, Chapter 8:8
Y comieron, y se saciaron; y levantaron de los pedazos que habían sobrado, siete canastas.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 8. So they did eat, and were filled , etc..] Christ and his disciples, and the whole multitude: they not only had some, but they had all enough, a full meal. It was surprising that it could be divided so, is that every one should have a bit; but that they should all be satisfied to the full, is amazing: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets ; as many as there were loaves; (see Gill on Matthew 15:37).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 1-10 - Our Lord Jesus encouraged the meanest to come to him for life an grace. Christ knows and considers our frames. The bounty of Christ is always ready; to show that, he repeated this miracle. His favours ar renewed, as our wants and necessities are. And those need not fea want, who have Christ to live upon by faith, and do so with thanksgiving.
