SEV Biblia, Chapter 8:16
Y altercaban los unos con los otros diciendo: Pan no tenemos.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 16. And they reasoned among themselves , etc..] Upon Christ's giving this caution, and recollecting with themselves, that they had forgot to buy any provisions, and take with them: saying, it is because we have no bread ; that he says these words; tacitly chiding and reproving us, for our want of thought and care; (see Gill on Matthew 16:7).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 11-21 - Obstinate unbelief will have something to say, though ever s unreasonable. Christ refused to answer their demand. If they will no be convinced, they shall not. Alas! what cause we have to lament for those around us, who destroy themselves and others by their pervers and obstinate unbelief, and enmity to the gospel! When we forget the works of God, and distrust him, we should chide ourselves severely, a Christ here reproves his disciples. How is it that we so often mistak his meaning, disregard his warnings, and distrust his providence?
