SEV Biblia, Chapter 14:33

Así pues, cualquiera de vosotros que no renuncia a todas las cosas que posee, no puede ser mi discípulo.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Luke 14:33

Verse 33. Whosoever he be of you] This seems to be addressed particularly to those who were then, and who were to be,
preachers of his Gospel; and who were to travel over all countries, publishing salvation to a lost world.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 33. So likewise whosoever he be of you , etc.] Let him be ever so forward to follow me, to make a profession of me and of my
Gospel, and to become a disciple of mine: that forsaketh not all that he hath ; when called to it, relations, friends, possessions, estates, and what not, which is an explanation of ( Luke 14:26) he cannot be my disciple ; he is not in fact one, and is not worthy to be called one.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 25-35 - Though the
disciples of Christ are not all crucified, yet they all bea their cross, and must bear it in the way of duty. Jesus bids them coun upon it, and then consider of it. Our Saviour explains this by tw similitudes; the former showing that we must consider the expenses of our religion; the latter, that we must consider the perils of it. Sin down and count the cost; consider it will cost the mortifying of sin even the most beloved lusts. The proudest and most daring sinner cannot stand against God, for who knows the power of his anger? It is ou interest to seek peace with him, and we need not send to ask condition of peace, they are offered to us, and are highly to our advantage. I some way a disciple of Christ will be put to the trial. May we seek to be disciples indeed, and be careful not to grow slack in ou profession, or afraid of the cross; that we may be the good salt of the earth, to season those around us with the savour of Christ __________________________________________________________________

Vincent's NT Word Studies

33. Forsaketh (apotassetai). Bids good-by to. Rev., renounceth. See on ch. ix. 61. "In that forsaketh
lies the key to the whole passage" (Trench). Christian discipleship is founded in self-renunciation.

Robertson's NT Word Studies

14:33 {Renounceth not} (ouk apotassetai). Old
Greek word to set apart as in a military camp, qen in the middle voice to separate oneself from, say good-bye to (#Lu 9:61), to renounce, forsake, as here. {All that he hath} (pasin tois heautou huparcousin). Dative case, says good-bye to all his property, "all his own belongings" (neuter plural participle used as substantive) as named in verse #26. this verse gives the principle in the two parables of the rash builder and of the rash king. The minor details do not matter. The spirit of self-sacrifice is the point.
