SEV Biblia, Chapter 12:3
Por tanto, las cosas que dijisteis en tinieblas, a la luz sern oídas; y lo que hablasteis al oído en los aposentos, ser pregonado en los tejados.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 3. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness , etc.] In the most private manner, to one another: shall be heard in the light ; which makes all things manifest, the day shall declare it: and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets ; whispered to persons in their bedchambers, and places of the most secret retirement; shall be proclaimed upon the housetops ; declared in the most public manner: in ( Matthew 10:27) these words are so expressed, as to carry in them such a sense as this; that what was told the disciples by Christ, in the most private place and way, should be published by them, in the most free and open manner; (see Gill on Matthew 10:27).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 1-12 - A firm belief of the doctrine of God's universal providence, and the extent of it, would satisfy us when in peril, and encourage us to trus God in the way of duty. Providence takes notice of the meanes creatures, even of the sparrows, and therefore of the smalles interests of the disciples of Christ. Those who confess Christ now shall be owned by him in the great day, before the angels of God. To deter us from denying Christ, and deserting his truths and ways, we ar here assured that those who deny Christ, though they may thus save lif itself, and though they may gain a kingdom by it, will be great loser at last; for Christ will not know them, will not own them, nor sho them favour. But let no trembling, penitent backslider doubt of obtaining forgiveness. This is far different from the determined enmit that is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which shall never be forgiven, because it will never be repented of.
