SEV Biblia, Chapter 22:28

Pero vosotros sois los que habis permanecido conmigo en mis tentaciones.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 28. Ye are they which have continued with me , etc.] From the beginning of his ministry, to that very time, they abode by him, and never departed from him, when others withdrew and walked no more with him: in my
temptations : not in the wilderness by Satan; for they were not with him then, not being as yet called to be his disciples and followers: but in his afflictions, by the reproaches, and cavils, and ensnaring questions of the Scribes and Pharisees, and their attempts upon him to take away his life by stoning, etc. which were trials and temptations to him. So the Ethiopic version renders it, in my affliction: now, since they had stood their ground, and firmly adhered to him in all his trials, he would have them still continue with him, and in his interest, though they should not have that temporal glory and grandeur they expected; but, on the contrary, fresh troubles and exercises, reproach, persecution, and death itself; and, for their encouragement, he promises both pleasure and honour, though of another sort, than what they were seeking after.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 21-38 - How unbecoming is the
worldly ambition of being the greatest, to the character of a follower of Jesus, who took upon him the form of servant, and humbled himself to the death of the cross! In the way to eternal happiness, we must expect to be assaulted and sifted by Satan If he cannot destroy, he will try to disgrace or distress us. Nothin more certainly forebodes a fall, in a professed follower of Christ than self-confidence, with disregard to warnings, and contempt of danger. Unless we watch and pray always, we may be drawn in the cours of the day into those sins which we were in the morning most resolve against. If believers were left to themselves, they would fall; but they are kept by the power of God, and the prayer of Christ. Our Lor gave notice of a very great change of circumstances now approaching The disciples must not expect that their friends would be kind to the as they had been. Therefore, he that has a purse, let him take it, for he may need it. They must now expect that their enemies would be mor fierce than they had been, and they would need weapons. At the time the apostles understood Christ to mean real weapons, but he spake only of the weapons of the spiritual warfare. The sword of the Spirit is the sword with which the disciples of Christ must furnish themselves.

Vincent's NT Word Studies

28. Continued (diamemenhkotev). Lit., "have remained through" (dia).

Robertson's NT Word Studies

22:28 {In my
temptations} (en tois peirasmois mou). Probably "trials" is better here as in #Jas 1:2 though temptations clearly in #Jas 1:13ff. this is the tragedy of the situation when Jesus is facing the Cross with the traitor at the table and the rest chiefly concerned about their own primacy and dignity.
