SEV Biblia, Chapter 22:22
Y a la verdad el Hijo del hombre va, segn lo que est determinado; pero ¡ay de aquel hombre por el cual es entregado!
Clarke's Bible Commentary - Luke 22:22
Verse 22. The Son of man goeth] That is, he is about to die, apercesqai, oicesqai, abire, going, going away, and departing, are used, by the best Greek and Latin writers, for death and dying. See Rosenmuller.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 22. And truly the son of man goeth , etc.] That is, dies, which is going the way of all the earth, ( Joshua 23:14) as it was determined ; in the counsels and purposes of God, and agreed to by Christ in the covenant of grace; (see Acts 2:23, 4:28) the death of Christ, the manner of it, and the means by which it was brought about, were all predetermined by God; yet this did not, in the least, excuse the sin of those concerned in it, nor exempt them from punishment: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed ; who not only came to an untimely end, and died an infamous death by his own hands, but went to his own place, the place of everlasting torments allotted him: wherefore in ( Matthew 26:24) it is added, it had been good for that man if he had not been born; (see Gill on Matthew 26:24).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 21-38 - How unbecoming is the worldly ambition of being the greatest, to the character of a follower of Jesus, who took upon him the form of servant, and humbled himself to the death of the cross! In the way to eternal happiness, we must expect to be assaulted and sifted by Satan If he cannot destroy, he will try to disgrace or distress us. Nothin more certainly forebodes a fall, in a professed follower of Christ than self-confidence, with disregard to warnings, and contempt of danger. Unless we watch and pray always, we may be drawn in the cours of the day into those sins which we were in the morning most resolve against. If believers were left to themselves, they would fall; but they are kept by the power of God, and the prayer of Christ. Our Lor gave notice of a very great change of circumstances now approaching The disciples must not expect that their friends would be kind to the as they had been. Therefore, he that has a purse, let him take it, for he may need it. They must now expect that their enemies would be mor fierce than they had been, and they would need weapons. At the time the apostles understood Christ to mean real weapons, but he spake only of the weapons of the spiritual warfare. The sword of the Spirit is the sword with which the disciples of Christ must furnish themselves.

22:22 {As it hath been determined} (kata to hwrismenon). Perfect passive participle of horizw, to limit or define, mark off the border, our "horizon." But this fact does not absolve Judas of his guilt as the "woe" here makes plain.
