VERSE (45) -
Lu 9:13 Mr 5:30-32

SEV Biblia, Chapter 8:45

Entonces Jess dijo: ¿Quin es el que me ha tocado? Y negando todos, dijo Pedro y los que estaban con l: Maestro, la multitud te aprieta y oprime, y dices: ¿Quin es el que me ha tocado?

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 45. And
Jesus said, who touched me ? etc.] This he said, not as ignorant of the person that had done it, but in order to discover her to the people, and the cure she had received, as well as her faith; (See Gill on Mark 5:30). When all denied ; both the disciples and the multitude, as many as were near him, and who might be thought to have done it; all excepting the woman, who afterwards came and declared it; for it is very likely, that as soon as she had touched his garment, and got her cure, she drew further off: Peter, and they that were with him ; the rest of the disciples, who were in company together, as appears from ( Mark 5:31) Said, Master, the multitude throng thee, and press thee, and sayest thou, who touched me ? or my garment, as the Ethiopic version reads; (See Gill on Mark 5:31).

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 41-56 - Let us not complain of a
crowd, and a throng, and a hurry, as long a we are in the way of our duty, and doing good; but otherwise every wis man will keep himself out of it as much as he can. And many a poor sou is healed, and helped, and saved by Christ, that is hidden in a crowd and nobody notices it. This woman came trembling, yet her faith save her. There may be trembling, where yet there is saving faith. Observ Christ's comfortable words to Jairus, Fear not, believe only, and the daughter shall be made whole. No less hard was it not to grieve for the loss of an only child, than not to fear the continuance of that grief But in perfect faith there is no fear; the more we fear, the less we believe. The hand of Christ's grace goes with the calls of his word, to make them effectual. Christ commanded to give her meat. As babes ne born, so those newly raised from sin, desire spiritual food, that the may grow thereby __________________________________________________________________

Vincent's NT Word Studies

45. Who touched (tiv o ayamenov). Lit., who is he that touched? Rev., who is it that.

Throng and press (sunecousinapoqlibousin). On the former word, see ver. 37, and ch. iv. 38. Rev. renders the latter, which occurs here only, more literally, crush. It means to squeeze out, as wine from grapes. See on tribulation, Matt. xiii. 21.

Robertson's NT Word Studies

8:45 {Press thee and crush thee} (sunecousin se kai apoqlibousin). Hold thee together, hold thee in (sunecw, see verse #37). {Crush thee} (apoqlibw) here only in the N.T., a verb used of pressing out grapes in Diodorus and Josephus. #Mr 5:31 has sunqlibw, to press together.
